Clamping Mechanism: Squeezes handrail by flexing outer part through interference fit.
Support Material: Not required. All overhang features have at least a 45 degree draft angle built in. Includes all ribs, indented lettering, L-track, and more.
Optimization: Design space created with basic L-track and clamping features. Topology optimization performed to eure highest strength to weight ratio. Design space envelop is within 1 inch to handrail cross-section as specified in rules.
FEA analysis: 150 lbf load cases in the positive/negative x/y/z directio on the L-track.
