眼镜蛇SRV-9（G.I.乔）

The Cobra Submeible Reconnaissance Vessel Mark 9 (SRV-9) from the GI Joe comic book issue #8 I read as a kid. This was never a toy in the lineup and I estimated all of the dimeio from pictures in the comic book. Armed with a pair of deck gu and a float plane [also available] I always thought this would be a great toy to play with. Now in 2019 I have one (and you can have one too, if you print one for youelf). Use it to launch the Night Landing rafts, rendezvous with Moray hydrofoils, or refuel Sea Rattle at sea.
This is a big model, I estimated the "real" toy would be about 40 inches long if they had ever made it. Since I intend it to be printed at 25% it just barely fit on my 10x6 inch print bed. As with all the vehicles I model I use them with 15 mm scale infantry.
My finished model weighs 110 grams so it cost me about $2.33 for the material to print one.

By now you can figure out how to print these. Print the 'show' side up whenever possible and supports as needed. Gu, the flag, etc. are generally printed so the barrel is parallel to the build plate - this gives the part greater strength. Two veio of the hull - waterline for wargame and an uncut veion for those that want to push it around in the bathtub.
*Important - the hull of the waterline veion is not cut parallel with the deck - it is angled at 0.65 degrees. I think I wanted to give it a see of motion so I pitched it slightly. You'll need to take this into account when placing it on your build plate, otherwise you'll have annoyingly small supports to clean off.
The file "SRV-9 replacement rail" is for those of you that, like me, broke one of the front railings off and didn't want to reprint the whole thing.
