This design was made with the idea that the regolith could be tougher than sand. The design is very simple, the NASA RASSOR DRUM include cover plates with blades for eroding hard rock. The bucket has conical spoo for the same effect. The whole design is made in Magnesium AZ91E T6 except for the 5 axis, they are in stainless steel or aluminium. Iide the bucket there is a regolith holding system allowing a sure drum mass : 4944 gBucket drum diameter : 449 mmBucket drum length : 360 mm Theoretical volume that could be captured of 22.3 LThis system is not fabulous but at least I tried !
