This is my second individual graduation project. I had to design and fabricate and bring to life a slow speed rolling machine that was required to reduce the thickness of wood (MDF) boards. The machine was prototyped fit then cotructed, and finally the 3D model was edited to reflect the final product was cotructed with the lowest budget possible without cutting any corne or compromising its structure or operation. Things like the electric motor or electrical parts were bought used. Metal rods or gea were bought from scrap collecto. This is mainly because I was spending my own money without any external funding and was told that the univeity will claim the project without returning us stress analysis was conducted in SOLIDWORKS along the way and a safety factor of 1.5x was a result the project earned distinction and earned the highest possible grades in all secto except the appearance grade due to y, some real photos are shown.
