Saare 游艇-通风口1型

Built with three-stages. Open, ajar and closed. User can operate it by pushing the button and twisting the handle with little angles.

Has a smooth closing mechanism. Wings blocks the water to direct pass through iide even it is full opened. Rubber between wings and head provide waterproofness. So no air or water can enter when it is closed.

Had some simulatio for accidents. (Sumone can step on it accidently) So made the lead sheet of head made thicker and supported with mechanism body. Head material is important for kind of situatio.

I’ve used copper plated HSLA 400 steel sheet for head , wings, base and iide sheets. (head can be cast with gray cast iron and plated with copper.)

Added rubber between wings and head.

Mechanism body, arms ,elbows and lock catch can be cast with cast steel.
Handle looks really nice with darkwood. (polished beech)
And the button’s material doesn’t matter at all. Can be wood for nice look.
