This project took way longer than I expected. After finishing each project, I worked on it bit by bit. I stopped halfway, then went back to it again and again. That’s when I really felt how hard it is to learn on your own 😂. When I didn’t know the awer, I didn’t know how to move forward, so I’d pause, do another project to regain confidence, then return to this , it was a really interesting build. I remember seeing people in forums talking about how the software isn’t organic enough, and I get it. The parametric setup was made for something that serves its purpose. For complicated organic shapes, maybe it’s not the best tool, and that’s fine. I started to appreciate it as it is. I’ve tried SubD before, and yes, it’s easier for organic shapes, but you also need to check the topology cotantly, which can get tiring. It’s like sculpting something with ribs, miss a few and the surface becomes uneven. It made me realize every software has its own purpose, and the best one is the one you know thing I found most challenging was when SolidWorks started crashing haha. I think it’s because the model I created had a lot of features, around 940 at that time (and it increased after finishing). It’s mainly because I kept redoing some parts and deleting othe, which made the file heavier. I could optimize this if I redo it from scratch, but I wouldn’t do it HAHA. It took almost 100 hou if I remember correctly, so I’ll leave it here for now. As much as I want to share the file with the full feature tree, I don’t think it would help othe who are just learning. It might be overwhelming or even discourage them from starting ’s not perfect, but it’s perfectly imperfect lol.
