重要文化財。二曲一双。各縦166.0cm 横183.0cm。紙本金地着色。江戸時代。18世紀。東京国立博物館蔵。
俵屋宗達の国宝「風神雷神図屏風」（京都・建仁寺蔵）を尾形光琳（1658-1716）が模写したもの。風神と雷神の視線を合わせているのが光琳作の特徴の一つ。
なお、酒井抱一（1761-1829）が光琳の死後に「夏秋草図屏風」を裏面に描き加えた。現在は保存のため別の屏風になっている。

Japanese folding screens of Wind God and Thunder God called “Fujin-Raijin-zu Byobu” by Korin OGATA. 18century A.D. Designated as important cultural properties. Collection of Tokyo National Museum.
Korin OGATA was a representative Japanese artist in the Edo Period. He portrayed these screens to copy the work of Sotatsu TAWARAYA.
Texture images of diffuse colors are from Colbase, which is a service for a database search of the collections in Japanese national museums, and I recreated images of so called Physically Based Rendering textures such as metalness and roughness textures from diffuse images.
