24 TPI are vintage threads. For standard SAE threads, see link at bottom.
A nut, bolt, and washer done up from scratch in a metric STL file. Meant to be interchangeable with some generator cowling bolts I had on hand. The bolt is about .4mm smaller diameter than 1/4". And the nut is about .4mm larger, providing a snug fit that can be hand-tightened on either the steel or plastic bolt. I also wanted a Phillips head.
The 7/16" hex heads came out slightly larger than the steel ones, when printed. But they are still under 7/16" And they fit loosely in my hex sockets with the expected backlash.
If you are looking for something different or not quite this, try the preexisting Nut, Bolt, Washer and Threaded Rod Factory by mike_mattala .
I also made these with standard, SAE 20 TPI :
