These speaker cabinets are made for general 5" speake, the ring cover however is made specifically for the Sioux CS 130 PRO speake, so you might have to change it a little to fit the speaker you choose if you cannot buy the CS 130 PRO, and if you do please share/link it so we can have these cabinets made for all kinds of speake, you can omit the ring if you want Speaker hole size: 122 mm / 4.8 in Cabinet Volume: approx 5.5 L / 0.194 ft3 Bass Port: 62.5 x 47 mm / 2.46 x 1.85 in - Depth 120 mm / 4.72 in Printer needs to have minimum 250x250x300mm build area. included are the cura profile i use, layer height can be changed for better detail, and change line width to match nozzle, i use 0.6mm nozzle and use 0.6 line width to get the Egg just under 1KG filament, use lower line width for smaller nozzle (0.4mm nozzle use around 0.4mm line width) Set "Z Seam Alignment" to center of you bed's X and Y behind the Egg for the best result. 2 models so far, the fit "square" veion and medium poly veion, have a high poly veion in the works. I print the rings on heated glass for the best result, no glue, but does need brim to keep warp down. Tap holes for speaker screws, you can always just cut a slit in one screw to use as a Tap, you have to thread the holes or laye will split. Use Foam Sealing Tape for the best performance. The small piece of 10mm foam goes in the top and gets held in place between top and bass port, it just have to cover wall behind the port to minimize midrange escaping out the port. Speake need to have the crossover upgraded, they sound ok as is (without stock grill), but get a lot better with just adding a coil, but this however requires treble to be removed: Remove the sioux "cap" on the back off the speaker. Un-solder the wires. Ucrew the treble. With the treble out you can remove the 4.7uF capacitor, this needs to go on the back of the speaker with the 0.22mH coil, on the treble with the removed capacitor you need to bridge the terminals with wire where the capacitor was er to revee polarity on treble! Glue down capacitor and coil with hot glue on the back of the speaker, i use a lot to make sure the coil stays in place (survived shipping from DK to US) Grill fits Sioux speake, replaces the metal grill that rui the high's as it restricts to much, grill can be omitted, but are included for keeping small finge away, they pop off easy so add a dab of glue if needed The best way to remove stock grill is to crush it a little with Polygrip plie and pull it off, just be careful not to bash in the treble or scratch the plastic, also do the grill last in the build process The Feet are printed in Ninjaflex Link to buy: Sioux CS 130 PRO: 4 mm Banana Plug: Speaker screws: Speaker Foam Sealing Tape: 5" Egg Speake (old design) is now on Make: Magazine, here you can see more build pictures Changelog: 2019/03: Changed bass port to minimize port noise and get a bit lower bass, foam pad needed now is also smaller and has to be placed under port opening in the bottom of the egg. New model comes with less support also, but you will have to use support blocker as pictures show (blue = block support), if you get support under and - in the back then block that also 2018/09: Hole pattern changed abit Ring changed to fit the speake better Added a rod in the top that connects bassport with top of egg reducing resonance and removes the need for support in the top
